Three schools of thought about first fruit offering

  5. He Hears Your Cry and He Will Help You! by Tonja Taylor
The LORD is ever near us! He is full of mercy and compassion, died on the cross to take care of us in every way, and is working 24/7 for our best and His glory--even when it doesn't seem like it! He is faithful forever, and Help and Hope and Shield, and will never leave us without help!

  8. Shattered or Shalom? by Tonja Taylor
Humans tend to focus on the negative, and the enemy helps that wrong attitude, of course. As true Believers in the only true God and Savior, Jesus Christ the soon-returning King, the LORD can help us learn to recalibrate to positivity!

  9. A sheep, a coin and a son by beatrice ofwona
Use of the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin and the lost son to see how they relate to our evangelistic approach in the kingdom of God. The article helps us see the different kinds of none believers who need us to bring them into the kingdom of God.

  10. Same environment. Different you. by Maryann Ogbonnaya
"We drink all kinds of stuff all the time, even though we're not yet eighteen. Your Christianity does not say anything about that. What's the difference?" She opened her mouth to respond and shut it back immediately.

If she did all kinds of illegal and immoral stuff before now, what made this different?

  11. Questions to Ask Hospice by Tonja Taylor
When my elderly, ,very disabled mother went on Hospice, I was glad for the help, and learned the hard way about benefits I'd not been told about at the beginning. Ask lots of questions before you engage Hospice, and even after your loved one is signed up for these services, to make sure that you're told about all the benefits and rights.

  12. God of Compassion by Jerry Ousley
When will we be like Jesus?

  13. God?s Perfect Gift by Dudley Anderson
?And the Father of lights gives perfect gifts to his children, in him there is no variation or shadow of turning. Jesus Christ is God?s perfect gift to you today.?

  14. Are you salty enough for Christ by Sue Darling
I asked once to God why our churches are not doing the powerful miracles like we are suppose to be seeing as the body of Christ.

  15. God's Plans for You by Tonja Taylor
OK, here we are--a new year is ahead of us! Things may be terrible in your life, but if you are born again by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ the only Savior of the world, Who shed His blood for us all on the cross over 2,000 years ago, then He will help you find His Ephesians 2:10 Plan for you!

  16. Do It Anyway! by Tonja Taylor
So many times, others have tried to hinder me when I've thought big, which usually means, bigger than them. We should always seek God and go by His wisdom, of course. However, when we know that we know that we know God is telling us to do something, and if we have peace that stays, we can choose to do it anyway--and God will back us up!

  17. PEACE, LOVE, HOPE IN THE NEW YEAR by Lupie Riley
Peace, love and hope in a world ready to implode. The answer is in Jesus

  18. Do You Have Vicarious Resentment? by Tonja Taylor
When I heard the name of a man I barely knew, and had really not ever interacted with, I was surprised at the resentment I felt--on behalf of another. The LORD showed me I had "vicarious resentment"--that I was offended on behalf of my cousin, and needed to get rid of that root.

  19. Tell the Pressure to Leave! by Tonja Taylor
Pressure is not from God! He leads us in right paths, and He is the ultimate Gentleman. Hallelujah! So when pressure comes, it's not the LORD, and we can realize and rebuke it, in the name of Jesus!

  20. Prayerless Pews and Powerless Pulpits by Ken Barnes
Are we praying for our Pastor as we should be? Prayerless pews will bring to pass powerless pulpits.

  21. LET THERE BE LIGHT by Lupie Riley
And God said "Let there be light." After Creation a new light came into the world in the form of a human baby.

  22. Don?t Turn Aside by Dudley Anderson
?Only fear the Lord and serve him in truth with all your heart. He has great things in store for you.?

  23. Crosses On Cars by Ruthie Alekseeva
At a recent event I attended, I noticed that many of the cars in the car park had crosses dangling from their rear-view mirrors. The number of crosses surprised me, and it made me feel happy that so many Christians want others knowing that they believe in Jesus, especially when the rapid decline of Christian values happening in The West, at the moment, occasionally evokes hostility towards those that stand up for them.

But can we do better? I thought, as I walked through this carpark.

  24. Women's Scandalous Ankles by Ruthie Alekseeva
In previous centuries, it was considered scandalous for a woman to expose her ankles, but early last century, this dress standard fell by the wayside. Then, Purity Culture came along. It taught that women should keep their thighs covered, but they didn?t care about shins, calves or ankles.

Well, why not? I have sometimes wondered. Why were ankles considered scandalous for so long, but now no one gives two hoots. Where in the world did modern-day men get this new-found strength from? This article sets out to find the answer.

  25. Mark Twain's Christian Clothes by Ruthie Alekseeva
Purity Culture often taught women that what they wear reflects what's in their heart, but in this article, Mark Twain poses as a glaring example of the falseness of that claim.

  26. Division by Ruthie Alekseeva
I hope we will start realising that not all women are part of the Duggar family, a family which all seemed on the same page about what constituted a modest or an immodest outfit, and because of that, when a woman chooses that she will keep certain areas of her body covered, she experiences great seclusion and monotony because her former friends now speak evil of her.

She may also experience division, even in her own home, with five in one house divided: three against two and two against three. Father divided against son and son against father and mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law with much loved relationships that seemed intertwined, unbreakable and never ending, now barely there.

  27. Baffled By Bikinis by Ruthie Alekseeva
People who teach modesty say women dress "immodestly" because they are vain and want men lusting after them. They never mention that some girls are just copying older women without understanding what they are doing. This must stop.

  28. A Mixed-Up Chicken by Ruthie Alekseeva
As a child, I believed that if someone hurt me, I should pretend it never happened, shrug it off and get on with my day. I believed that if I confronted the person who hurt me and let them know their words or behaviour had caused me great pain, that was retaliating or seeking revenge.

So, instead of telling those who bruised me how I felt, I would bury my pain deep within my heart. Then, because my offender didn?t know they had wounded me, they would repeat their hurtful behaviour over and over.

This intensified my immured pain until it became so excruciating my heart and mind overflowed with incredible anger, which morphed into thunderous hatred, but the Bible shows us a better way.

  29. Refuge by Jerry Ousley
    The City of Refuge

  30. Devine Lubrication by Dudley Anderson
?Renew your mind and transform your thinking while rejoicing in the joy of the Lord, always. Then your gearbox will direct the power of your engine to drive your wheels seamlessly so that you will remain on track with the perfect will of God.?
