What is the difference between strategic management and human resource management

Every large business organization needs to own strategic management and human resource management departments . However, these two departments have the different job duties.

As strategic management department refers that its duties include to improve company profit margin, impacting the cost of goods sold positively, reducing the day's sale outstanding, setting up daily operational plan, tactical plan, strategic plan, providing a useful focus that energizes and moves the organization forward its mission direction, vision statement.

Otherwise, human resource management department refers that it considers global
companies respect cultures, and workforce environment, starting forming a global profile
or social consciousness and corporate social responsibility changing. Thus, every
organization needs to own human resource management department to increase shareholders value, boosting employing engagement, increasing employer brand recognition, arranging salary award and bonus policy, resistance to change, complicating expensive technology
issues, planning strategic human resource to remain a challenge, giving the downward
spiral of strategic management assistance confidence and a potential recession plan to
the reduce the possibility that the downturn becomes severe and impacts employees
occurrence ,consulting customer-focus, deciding outsourcing departments job and
reducing staffs, choice measuring result, value added activities and designing human
resource strategic plan to arrange interview methods and selection and giving benefit
direction for long term.


In general, these are the different duties between strategic management and human resource management duties.
