Freedom
by W. Yvonne Birnell As I set at my computer I put my headphones in I listen to waves crashing My face now forms a grin Just then a ponder comes my way Of all the things I own I find my stuff so cluttered Looks like a battle zone I spied some things I cared for Among the clutter there But could not seem to reach them A path I need to clear I noticed then my house was Exactly like my mind Piles here and piles there It's time I redesigned Found it's not good to hold on To things that don't hold back For, stuff is just possessions That led my life off track Realized things had to go An energy I found Soon found myself now singing As more came off the mound Oh what freedom I have found While cleaning out my house Now I see my precious things My children and my spouse Saved by the grace of God. Married to a wonderful husband. Mother of 4, grandmother of 20, and ggmother of 4. Given the grace from God for the of love for words and ryhmes, to share with the world God Love for all mankind.
