A New Path

Then you hear a soft gentle whisper A voice that you remember from when you were young Oh, my beloved child I hear your crying I have watched you and know you are in pain Come to me! Come to me I long to hold you in my arms I have waited for your return You are not alone I love you more than you know You are my beloved daughter! You are my delight! Let us go on a new path filled with compassion and joy Your tears will be turned into waters of renewal and new birth! Your pain will be turned into peace Jesus? Jesus, is that you? You are calling me? But I am a woman who hasn't come to you for years! How is it that you ask me to follow you? What is it that you ask? I am unworthy of this call My child, I created you with care and loved every moment as I watched you being born You have a goodness and light within that you will experience You have gifts to share The path I will show you has beauty and hope! But there is one thing I ask One thing that is more important than anything else I ask for your heart I am a Christian writer who loves to create prayers which express the compassion of Jesus or praise him.
