Serenity
by Jason Fusek God grant me serenity To accept the things I cannot change Courage to change the things that I can God grant me wisdom To know the difference Living in each moment of every day Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace Taking as Jesus did this world Not as I would have it but as it is Trusting that You will bring justice God grant me the will To surrender my will to yours That I may know Your blessing in this life God grant me the joy To endure with You before me That I may know the supreme joy yet to come Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace Taking as Jesus did this world Not as I would have it but as it is Trusting that You will bring righteousness Oh the joy set before us Blessed are those who trust in Your name Oh the joy set before us Blessed are those who trust in Your name I chiefly write poetry and a composer of worship songs. Currently I work for the California Dept. of Health.
