Tangles
by PamFord Davis

"Help, I can not get this straightened out!" Is that your cry with the problem of untangling a long vacuum cleaner chord? There have been many times when it got the best of me! I have no idea how they can get in such a mess! Another frustrating example is a tiny delicate necklace chain; once it gets a knotted, it is nearly impossible to correct.

If there is some one close by, passing on the project can be the solution. Maybe a fresh approach is all that is needed. We could just set it aside, and come back later when we have more time to concentrate. It can be worked out!

Things are more involved when the tangles are in our relationships or our nerves are tied in knots. In those times of stress and feeling overwhelmed we need to go directly to God. He can make a way, when it seems there is no way. The Apostles Paul and Peter had some conflicts regarding relationships with Gentile believers, (Galatians 2:11-12).

Later we see from a writing by Peter he held no hard feelings toward his accuser, " and regard the patience of our Lord to be salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction,
(2 Peter:3 15-16 NAS)."

Let Him untangle and untie; His hands are to be trusted!
