My Brother
by Cassie Memmer

I hear my brother crying,
His pain is from within,
For lack of God's knowledge he's dying,
For his life is full of sin.

Turn to God, beloved brother,
Your worst enemy is yourself,
The Lord can heal you like no other,
And restore you back to health.

You've tried so long on you own,
And Satan continues to steal,
He'll kill and destroy untill he's won,
Unless you come to God and kneel.

Brother, ask Jesus into your heart,
He will never let you down,
He'll live within and be a part,
Break those chains that have you bound.

And like the cleansing of cool spring rain,
He'll make you fresh and whole,
Where people have caused such wrenching pain,
His love will fill heart and soul.

Reach out to Jesus, my dear brother,
Let Him dry your tears,
Let Him hold you as a father,
And melt away all your fears.

He offers freedom from your sin,
For all sin He will forgive,
Nothing's too hard for Him to mend,
Just confess it to Him and live!

Brother, don't let yourself hurt anymore,
But let God's love make you new,
Just now, open your tender heart's door,
He's waiting to abide in you.
