THE GREAT OUTDOORS poem

Provencher The Great Outdoors Today is a slide of lazy wind and the stream, a cascade of surges ducks among evening clouds are shades of movement rain continues its pounce as warm sprinkles aged rocks clothed in shoreline slime and loons create their private sounds in eerie mist. Dusk weaves between the trees sunbeams fanning across ripples on the lake our canoe eager, searching. Richard L. Provencher 2009 Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel.
