GOD WILL NEVER FORGET NOR LEAVE YOU.
by tolulope Oluokun Sometimes in life situations makes us wonder if God remembers us! Such times are times when it is as if God has travelled and has forgotten that you exist. It seems He is not concerned about what you are going through. But friend such times are times when one needs to remember God's promises to us and hold tightly to them knowing that He can never lie and that He meant what He said in His word and no situation can ever make Him change His mind towards us .In Hebrews 13:5b which says "He will never leave you nor forsake you." We have to know that God can turn anything around for our good, for we know that all things work together for good to those that love God and are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28) we should not be discouraged no matter what is happening, for nothing is too hard for God and with God ALL things are possible (jer 32:17, Matthew 19:26). Just keep trusting Him and holding on to His word because He may not always show up early but He is never late! He makes all things beautiful in His time. Remember the story of Joseph in the bible and how it seems things were not working for Him initially, how he went from the pit to been a servant then into prison. To the world and maybe also to Joseph , it seemed He will never amount to any thing in life ,he had no time like his other brothers who were free to achieve what ever they wanted in life . But look at what happen when God changed his status, Joseph had everything added to him that even those who had the time and freedom didn't have . He was given a job, had chariots (cars if it were today), house, even a wife etc). Everyone had forgotten about Joseph including his family, but God did not forget him and will also not forget you no matter where you may be today, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:26 - "Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? If God cares for birds, will He now forget about you that He made in His image and likeness. Keep trusting Him and know that He can never fail.
