My Brooklynn
by Laura Manley She sleeps - hands under one cheek in prayer-like fashion. Gone are the French braids lovingly styled by her mother. I look upon her angelic face aware that one day soon, she'll be more interested in friends than visits from Nana and Papa. So, I've reserved a shelf in my heart to place all memories shared with my Brooklynn. I am a 77-year young Christian writer whose desire is to make a positive difference in people's lives through my writing. My purpose is to show people the love of Jesus Christ.
