Make A Joyful Noise

MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE
Why should we make a joyful noise, and unto whom should we make it.
Rev 4:11 says "Thou art worthy oh Lord to receive, glory honour and power, for thou has created all things and for thy pleasure, they are and were well created".

Have you ever asked yourself WHY I AM HERE? What is my purpose for EXISTENCE? Why did grace see me through till today?

Simple, the reason why we were created and fashioned in this miry clay vessel is for the sole purpose of PRAISE AND WORSHIP to GOD.

We were called to give God praise. In everything we do, we are to show his PRAISE

Psalm 150:6 says "Let everything that has breathe PRAISE the Lord". Now how do we bring PRAISE to God?

It is not just in the four walls of a building with loud instruments and scores of choirs singing, in fact, we PRAISE GOD the most when we make a formidable impact in our world for the Kingdom.

Matt 5:16 reads "Let your life shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and PRAISE YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN".

1st Peter 2 vs 9 also says "But you are a chosen generation, a royal people, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the PRAISES of HIM who has called us you out of darkness into His marvelous light".

We have been drawn out of darkness to His marvelous light for the specific reason that we proclaim the PRAISES of HIM WHO HAS CALLED US; we who were not his people but now His after having obtained His mercy (vs 10).

Now how do we proclaim His PRAISES to the nations and give God praise in our everyday life.

Matter-of-factly, it is when we go about our daily assignment at home, work, church, markets etc, in a way that gives Him glory before the world. The Bible says, we are the light, Let them see that light.

We give God Praise exclusively in our everyday life when we are the best in everything we do. Yes, the best in whatsoever we lay our hands upon to do, be it as an Architect, Doctor, Pharmacist, Seamstress, Baker, Stand-up comedian or even the "lowly" groundnut seller.

Now conduct also goes a long way to show if we are truly showing God's praises or not.

We must learn daily to ask ourselves, WHAT IMPACT AM I MAKING?
Am I affecting people positively, negatively or am I neutral (no gain no loss)?

Am I the type that people would want to hang around with whether they have anything to do with me or not? OR Am I the type that when I'm thought of, people would regret that thought.

Psalm 1:1 "Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sits in the sit of the scornful.
Vs 3; "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water; that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
Vs 6: "For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish."

That's PRAISE.

In this race of personal Christianity, there is the need to constantly check ourselves, to be in line with the scriptures, to maintain a godly character and lifestyle that will attract people to Jesus, thereby GIVING GOD PRAISE THROUGH YOU.
