Who Feeds Them?
by PamFord Davis

We are fascinated with the story of Elijah being fed by ravens. (I Kings 17:4-6) They brought the prophet both bread and meat. Can you imagine how long it would take for birds to gather enough food to satisfy hunger and sustain life? They did it because they were on a mission for God, their creator!

That is amazing; but who feeds the ravens? "Who prepares for the raven it's nourishment, when it's young cry to God, and wander about without food (Job 38:41 NAS)?" This question was directed to Job by God Himself! Naturally the answer is He did! He provided for Elijah, Job, the ravens; and He provides for us!

We get our needed nourishment from the One who feeds the smallest of His creatures. He offers His best to be taken from the palm of His loving hand.
