How Human are you
by Louisa Hall

How frail are you?
Are you as frail as the leaves,
blown about by the autumn wind?

Do you think about your death?
that your life is but a blink?
Lke dew, gone before the morning sun?

Do you know how easily your heart breaks?
I could break it if I tried
If you loved me enough

How honest are you?
Do you know that we are all hypocrites?
that we are all ashamed?

Do you forgive me?
Do you accept me?
Does your grace fall down like rain?

Do you judge me? I dare you.
But when your judgement falls back on you,
I will hold you as you cry.

Because we are all just human,
I'll hold you and you'll hold me
Because by then, we'll feel a little less broken inside.
