U-Turn
by PamFord Davis

We all at times need to make a complete turn around, not only on a busy highway, but in our crowded lives as well. That is the definition of the word "repent" in Luke 13:3. Our lives are headed in the wrong direction, away from God. We admit the error, make a u-turn, and begin walking towards Him daily.

Manasseh's story is revealed in 2 Chronicles 33:1-13. We read of his complete life change, from evil to repentance. Manasseh in his wicked behavior misled his nation and ignored Almighty God. His rebellion and pride brought down God's hand of judgment. The king was drawn to the light of revelation. "Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God (2 Chronicles 33:12-13 NKJ)." That is the most important thing we need to know!
