A world of opportunity to love God in.
by Kathleen Angell

God is so exciting! This is the sweetest thing. I began the day with flashes of various things I do in the day that could be turned into great opportunities to love God in. The smallest things became so large, like a whole new world in which to live. But this was the Lord showing me something about my day and all the opportunities that are given there to love Him in. By a loving attitude in what we do, a loving attitude to those we do things for and a loving attitude, loving God in it. There's a world of opportunity to love God in. The tiniest things, just loving Him in them, and in all things given to me in the day, loving God in them, and loving others. Stupendous opportunities of loving God, seemingly to me, hidden in the tiny things we do. It makes the little things so large in love. After Him showing that, I saw a little book I had thought to read and noticed that in it it said, -God loveth adverbs. I knew it was about the same thing He was showing me. The Lord is so exciting! I can share with you the Puritan proverb the Lord showed in it that means exactly the same thing He was showing this morning. God loveth adverbs; and careth not how good, but how well. It goes on to say that it implies that

God cares more about the spirit in which we live than the seen results. And that is what I was seeing the Lord showing me today, about the opportunity that we have in the littlest things to love Him in. A whole new big world in front of me of opportunity every day. If I go with a good attitude of heart to love God in my daily walk. Making the tea for my husband, cleaning the tub. Doing the dishes. Every little and mundane thing is a world of opportunity to love God in.

Do I always do well?  No, but I can ask forgiveness and go again and His love and grace are sufficient for me.  Every lesson takes time.  But how wonderful the learning when we look back  and see we have come to know the lesson through the Teacher more and more!  We begin to see Him!
