You know how hard my life is here And you know what I go through each day The enemy is out to get me So I cry out to you and pray There is sickness, and sadness and violence around And I'm hanging on by a thread But you Oh Lord! you protect me And you save me from horror and dread There are people who work for the devil And they confuse me with what they believe Oh Lord I beg you to deal with them And let me not be deceived.
