Yet I will dance
by Eunice Stuhlhofer My heart in agony; my spirit squeezed dry I am gropping in the dark; waiting to hear just a rattle From a distance, a loud rattle and an eerie laughter Though the mocking; yet I will dance A new dawn; a new fresh day Waiting to hear just a rattle; just a whisper from You Where are You Lord? again, the eerie laughter Though You are silent; yet I will dance Joy cometh in the Morning; after a dark long night Many have come and gone by; and not a whisper from You When cometh the morning? I am drowning in the eerie laughter Thought the morning fails; yet I will dance A weapon secret; hidden within me: the dance Given to all; let us dance; In the dance; He will descend In the dance; the eerie laughter will cease I will dance; I will dance Eunice Wangui Stuhlhofer is a wife and a mother.
