Blindly Walking
by Kristin Hanley Most frightening of all departures of direction To be... lost and not even recognize the misconception. Captured by the shadows from eyelids closed; Perceiving a false light whereby we stumble... composed. Perfectly guided by what I believe to be my direction-- Nothing less than my downfall and deception. But surely you will redirect this course before we wreck, And let us not lie sprawling on a wet and shattered deck. Uncover and clear my vision. So that I can openly walk towards my mission. Kristin Hanley teaches Composition and Creative Writing courses at Regent University. Aside from reading and writing, she loves to paint, hike, and create new recipes. She makes her home in Branson West, Missouri, with her husband and daughter. http://www.momentsofpeace-khanley.blogspot.com Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
