A Joyful Song to All
by Carol Hoener Let this season be filled with joyful singing. Replacing our tears with the spirit of Thanksgiving. (Isaiah 35:10) Be filled with the fatness and sweetness of God's goodness. Overflowing on those who are hurting and homeless. (Nehemiah 8:10) Overcoming our sorrows, troubles and weeping. Receiving the beauty of Love, Peace and God's joyful singing. (Isaiah 61:3, Zephaniah 8:17) Holding on to the joy the world can't take away. Be assured with the promise of hope and peace when we pray. (John 16:20-24) Making this a season to restore, revive and renew. Finding comfort in songs of joy over you. (Luke 15:7, Galatians 5:22) Setting aside the troubles and trials that taunt us. Letting the spirit of love, hope and joy overcome us. (Hebrews 12:2, James 1:2, Romans 15:13) If you see no other reason to make this season bright, Let this be the season you let Jesus be your light. (Psalm 51:12, Psalm 63:5) Without peace there is no unity, without unity there is no love, without love there is war. "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me."
