The Gift
by Nancy Quinn The Christmas wrapping papers are quickly thrown away The pile of gifts put away and begun to be used The magical Christmas feeling is often gone long before May. The gift of the manger should be one that's year-around As we joyfully spread the love of Christ to others Is the love of Jesus in our hearts always to be found? There are many who desperately need to feel Christ's love As we see homeless, hurting, lonely or sad people each day The Christmas spirit is one of indescribable love from above The gift of the manger was priceless and eternal The spirit of Christmas should be the gift that keeps giving As we pass on this special gift the good news of life eternal.
