It's Okay
by David Story What sin's got it's grip on you today? Maybe a secret one no one knows about. One you're so ashamed of, you're scared to talk to anyone about it. Time and time again you try and try and try to stop. Time and time again you ask for forgiveness, promising God that this time was the last time, only to find yourself back in it's grip a few days, or even hours later. How about trying this ... Stop trying. Turn it over to Jesus once and for all. Lay it down at the foot of the cross. Trust in Him to do the work for you. That's it. Trust Him. He'll do the rest. And in the meantime remember this ... You are without fault in God's eyes. Without fault. Perfect. Holy. Blameless. Loved. Oh, and by the way ... You're not the only one struggling. Every one of us has experienced, is experiencing, or will experience the same thing you're going through. Every one of us. Some of us. Are just too proud to admit it. ----- ... now he has brought you back as his friends. He has done this through his death on the cross in his own human body. As a result, he has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. But you must continue to believe this truth and stand in it firmly.
