You've Got A Friend
by PamFord Davis

The working relationship between friends and family is stronger than those only involving professional partners. It is more than dollar and cents decisions. Family and friends realize their honor and the future success of their business is on the line. Responsibilities are shared and motives behind decisions are revealed.

Jesus as Lord and Master is the final authority in our mission to carry the gospel. He compassionately includes us in the Father's redemptive plan. "And you are my friends, if you obey me. Servants don't know what their master is doing, and so I don't speak to you as my servants. I speak to you as my friends, and I have told you everything that my Father has told me. You did not choose me. I chose you and sent you to produce fruit, the kind of fruit that will last. Then my Father will give you what-ever you ask for in my name (John 15:14-16 CEV)." His friendship can always be trusted. What about our accountability?
