My Girl
by PamFord Davis

Are you Daddy's little girl? There are no age limits. A woman can be in her 50's or 60's and still be thought of as a little girl to her elderly father. He watches out for her best interests and is concerned about her health and safety. Is she getting enough rest? Is she skipping meals?

Jesus touched the lives of a father and daughter with life changing compassion. "Just then the man in charge of the Jewish meeting place came and knelt down in front of Jesus. His name was Jairus, and he begged Jesus to come to his home because his twelve-year-old child was dying. She was his only daughter (Luke 8:41-42a CEV)."

The girl died before her father, Jesus, Peter, James, and John got inside the home. Jesus restored her to life and gave instructions to her parents to tell no one. (Verses 51-56) Daddy's little girl would continue to brighten the home.
