Hey Jude
by PamFord Davis How do you say goodbyes to a loved one or close friends? Is the experience concluded on a positive note? Are hugs and loving words exchanged? The memory of that parting may return to your mind in days ahead. Imagine what life would be like for the half brothers and sisters of Jesus. They could never achieve the recognition and praise given to Him by their parents. It is impossible to match perfection. They were not easily convinced of Jesus divinity. After His death, burial, and resurrection truth defeated doubts. Both James and Jude became faithful followers of Jesus and church leaders. The goodbye written by Jude is a doxology of praise and blessing. "Offer praise to God our Savior because of our Lord Jesus Christ! Only God can keep you from falling and make you pure and joyful in his glorious presence. Before time began and now and forevermore, God is worthy of glory, honor, power, and authority. Amen (Jude 24-25 CEV)." Dwell on those words and find fulfillment and peace.
