On Broadway
by PamFord Davis

Broadway is the goal of many professional entertainers. If they are considered worthy by talent scouts, producers and directors they may one day see their name up in lights. Many find their dreams trampled under foot and swept away in back street gutters. Broadway homes only a few select stars, privileged to be listed among greats of the past. Resumes and portfolios listing Broadway experience give openings to Hollywood and a chance in the movies.

Life contrasts with stardom. The majority walk on the broad way. Few choose the less traveled path. "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it (Matthew 7:13-14 NKJ)." Followers of Jesus desire no star on the Hollywood walk of fame. The Creator of the stars has our names listed in His Book of Life.
