I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing
by PamFord Davis

Television and radio advertisers spend millions of dollars on catchy phrases and jingles. Some are remembered for decades. Most leave little if any impression. I'll share a favorite from my childhood days. Each year before school re-opened in the fall, a department store ran this jingle:

School bells ring and children sing.
It's back to Robert Halls again

Coca-Cola drew the world away from cares and concerns one Christmas. The jingle won the way into our hearts and homes. I'd like to teach the world to sing. If we can sing in harmony, why not live in harmony? "Then we'll be a choir- not our voices only, but our very lives singing in harmony in a stunning anthem to the God and Father of our Master Jesus (Romans 15:6-9 The Message)!" Meet you at choir practice.
