The road to life
by Unami Magwenzi Before you saw the light go on Remember darkness first prevailed Life can sometimes lead you on You sometimes live along a path Deception at its highest level. And then without a glimpse of warning At times beyond your comprehension Everything comes all at once Mishaps, pain and disillusions Prelude to silence and the downward spiral. For me to stand and keep on living All I've known I must desert. I must believe beyond myself On this great day I need to choose To walk with Christ my saviour King And then I'll see the light go on.
