CAST YOUR CARES

1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you.

We pray and ask God to do all sorts of things for us and still it doesn't happen, we wonder why. The Bible says in Matthew that if we allow God's word to become a part of us and we become a part of him we can ask anything and it shall be done. So why doesn't it happen?

We say that we believe but how many of us go though each day worrying about how we are going to pay the bills or that expense, why we are sick or why the kids are sick and do we need to take them to the doctor? We get upset at things that really do not matter. The husband forgot this, the wife didn't do that, and the kids are fussing at each other. Is the world going to stop if none of these things happen? No, the world is going to keep on turning.

1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves before Godrealize that you are nothing and do not control the universe. The world does not rotate around you. Then when you are where God wants you to be he will lift you up. Casting all your dares upon himwhen you begin to worry stop and ask yourself, self can I change this situation? If your answer is yes, then stop worrying about it and get up and change it. If your answer is no, then stop worrying about it and get on your knees and give it to God so that he can change it. In either case stop worrying, there is no need to worry. If it is too big for God to handle then you need to find a bigger God. All worry is going to do for you is to make you sick. Worry is just another one of Satan's tricks to pull you away from God. But if you will give it all to God and not worry about anything he will take the situation and solve it because he loves you that much. Then step back and see what he does with the rest of your prayers because worry is not right in the middle of your prayer destroying it before it has a chance to be resolved.
