Incense and Peppermints
by PamFord Davis

Incense is used by many false religions and cults. The hippie generation burned incense and spoke of free love. Incense and Peppermints hit the Billboard record charts. Because of the misuse we may forget its role in reverent worship. Search the scriptures. It is listed from Exodus to Revelation. When used as God directed it is a pleasing fragrance to the Lord.

I'm unaware of what elements are used in the manufacturing process, but I'm sure it can not compare to our role. "The Lamb went over and took the scroll from the right hand of the one who sat on the throne. After He had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders knelt down before him. Each of them had a harp and a gold bowl full of incense, which are the prayers of God's people (Revelation 5:7-8 CEV)." Our prayers create a sweet aroma. They are gathered together to be used in reverent worship of the Lamb of God.
