WHAT IS YOUR PRICE?
by Duane Huffstutler WHAT IS YOUR PRICE? Genesis 3:1-6 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. (KJV) Adam and Eve were given a place to live and food to eat. They had nothing to worry about. Adam was given dominion over everything in the Garden of Eden. God would come and walk and talk with them every evening. God was meeting every need of man and man was meeting the desire of God, to have someone to talk to and serve him because he wanted to and not because he had to. Yes, it is true that man knew nothing but God's ways but God was teaching Adam everything he needed to know as the time came. I believe that if Adam would have asked God, he would have explained to Adam the reason he wanted him to stay away from that tree, but Adam didn't ask. Since you can't fall away from God in one day, Adam and Eve probably started walking by the tree more and more each day. Lucifer was watching from a distance and as Adam and Eve became more enticed by the tree he decided to help things along a little bit. Lucifer was a very beautiful creature and very talented according to Ezekiel 28, so he used a very beautiful creature. Since Adam had dominion over everything in the garden there was no fear for any creature. And Lucifer began the conversation with Eve. Lucifer knew of Adams power to throw him out of the garden so he would not start anything with him. Lucifer decided to entice Eve to come out from under Adams protection. She started doing things on her own, although Adam was right there with her he allowed this to continue. Eve saw that the fruit was pretty and since it looked pretty it probably would taste good but wouldn't touch it because she knew that God had said that if they ate it they would die. Then when Lucifer convinced her that she wouldn't die she wanted it even more. Her excitement was starting to peak. When Lucifer added that they would be like gods. She knew how wise God was and the power that he had she thought that would really top things off if I could be like Godso she took a bite of it. Adam standing there with her instead of exercising his authority let her do it. He then had to make a decision. God said they would die if they ate of the fruit. He knew what it would be like to be alone again. Was he going to eat of the fruit and die with her or was he going to be alone again? Lucifer is still playing the game today. He is offering more money than we can even imagine. He is offering health without sickness again. He is offering love without end. He is offering Power over any situation and any person. Anything you want is available for the taking. He is using anyone that will allow him in. There is an organization that is offering this and more and is willing to teach you everything you need to know to get it. They make it sound very inviting you will never want for anything ever again. They even say that through the Power of this organization you can live forever. There is a catchthe statement in the front of their training manual states that you must read it with an open mind and turn your back on everything that you have learned about business and your God because every religion is just about getting your money and your mind. On in the manual they state that God does not exist, and that we are God. This is a tested system since before 1985 and it had made many people very rich, healthy and powerful. The question is now are you going to sell out to God or are you going to sell out to Lucifer. You will sell out to one or the other. Who will it be and for what price? Duane L.
