Total Eclipse Of The Heart
by PamFord Davis

A solar eclipse is rare and intriguing. Time seems to stand still as the moon blocks the light of the sun. The moon positions itself as in intruder, between the earth and sun above. The reappearance of the sun's rays leads us to heave a sigh of relief. Darkness is mastered by light and creation resumes its routine schedule.

What happens when we experience a total eclipse of the heart? Do we sense a cloud of darkness hovering between us and God? Is hope gone? Will His light shine within? "Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God (Ezekiel 11:19-20 NKJ)." Do not let sin harden your heart and block out God's light. Let His light shine.
