You're So Vain
by PamFord Davis

Arrogance comes at a high price. Those who bask in their own appearance and strengths are surely to fall. They not only toot their own horn, but also lead the orchestra. Friends will dwindle down to a few. Someone will find the courage to confront with the truth. You're so vain! How can anyone blindly believe greatness is theirs alone to claim?

"The Lord says: Don't brag about your wisdom or strength or wealth. If you feel you must brag, then have enough sense to brag about worshiping me, the Lord. What I like best is showing kindness, justice, and mercy to everyone on earth (Jeremiah 9:23-24 CEV)." Honestly rate yourself. Do you meet the Lord's qualifications? Do you treat all you meet with kindness, justice and mercy? We seek hearts of compassion to follow in the steps of our humble Lord and Savior.
