High Hopes
by PamFord Davis Are you weary and discouraged? Do daily troubles leave you feeling low and defeated? We rub shoulders with many who cause conflict, and we are tempted to get even or retreat in isolation. God's desire is that we will instead reach out with love and compassion. (Romans 12:9-21) We can have high hopes in the knowledge that Christ can reconcile us to one another through His Holy Spirit. "Never give up. Eagerly follow the Holy Spirit and serve the Lord. Let your hope make you glad. Be patient in time of trouble and never stop praying (Romans 12:11-12 CEV)." Let hope revitalize you. Find refreshment and strength to carry love in the name of Jesus.
