I Just Called To Say I Love You
by PamFord Davis

Do you need a special occasion to express your love? I've heard that Valentine's Day and Mother's Day are the busiest seasons in the year for florists. Men feel compelled to express their love and appreciation with wives and mothers. It let's them off the hook for all the times they neglect to express their feelings. Have you ever tried to call someone with Christmas greetings and received an annoying recording explaining all circuits were busy? It seems millions of others were doing what you planned. After repeated efforts you finally get through and after your party answers you say: "I just called to say I love you!"

Open your Bible. It is described as God's love letter. Over and over He shares expressions of His infinite love and grace. You will find one of those intimate pieces of communication in Psalm 136. One phrase is shared over and over. "God's love never fails". (CEV) "For His mercy endures forever." (NKJ) "His faithful love will last forever." (ERV) "For His lovingkindness is everlasting." (NAS) "His love is eternal." (HCS) "His love continues forever." (NCV) "for his steadfast love endures forever." (NRS) "for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever." (Amplified) Did you receive God's message? He just called to say he loves you!
