Up, Up And Away
by PamFord Davis Are you afraid of flying? It is a phobia many experience. It has been the source of many jokes. A whole episode of the Bob Newhart show focused on the problem, his attempts to help a group, and his failure to help his wife Emily overcome her fears. It is no laughing matter if you white-knuckle during every take off and landing. Some avoid flying with determination. Are they aware of a trip in the future? Up, up and away! "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord (2 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NAS)."
