Help, I Need Security
by Shirley Carr

The atmosphere is rather cloudy,
Love has been entangled enough.
Trustcounteracted by uncertainty.
I can't seemy eyes are sweating the blues,
While my mind and heart bruised.
So Excuseme

Help, I need Security

My emotions have been disturbed.
The sound you heard,
Was just my plea,
PleasePolice my pleasure and prevent the pain,
Ofloving youlosing youchoosing you,
Over the risk of the end,
Or never againwould we be.

Help, I need Security

To arrest the anguish of not being,
In secure closure of the past,
One moment of disappointment,
Brought back the last.
Time has been falsely accused,
Used as a healer of wounds,
Only roomed words never said and
Tombed the deadmemeories,
The insecure in me

Help, I need Security

Security Found in: Isaiah 61:1-3
"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor."
