Lil' Red Riding Hood
by PamFord Davis

The fairytale Little Red Riding Hood is a classic that has been shared since the 17th century. It is a tale of innocence and trust versus evil and manipulation. Readers of the story wish they could warn the little girl of the Big Bad Wolf and his trickery. In real life wickedness is regularly disguised behind a cloak of security with promises of fulfillment.

Jesus gave a warning we need to remember. "Watch out for false prophets! They dress up like sheep, but inside they are wolves who have come to attack you (Matthew 7:15 CEV)." There are among us those who appear to be men and women of God. In reality they do not know Him as Savior and Lord. They are motivated by greed and an ego which thrives on attention. See through their deception and continue on your journey of faith.
