Morning Has Broken
by PamFord Davis

Insomnia is a strange sounding word and a disturbing reality to multitudes of sufferers. Sleep is so inviting, like a long lost friend. It just eludes them and all their greatest strategies. Clock watching becomes a vigil until dawn's early light. With a hopeful heart they will try again at the close of the day.

Morning is God's way of offering us a clean slate. The mistakes of yesterday are placed behind us and new opportunities await our discovery. It is a time to give thanks and praise to the Creator of both our sun lit times of joy and trials of darkness.

"There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God. The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn (Psalms 46:4-5 NKJ)." One glorious day, when morning has broken the clouds of darkness.... insomnia, sickness, tears and death will be no more!
