A Lesson to learn from the monkey
by boatrocker Gilmore

There is a very clever way that a monkey is caught.
With a fruit inside a vase-the monkey reaches
in to retrieve the fruit- but cannot.

Because of greed, he refuses to let go even though his hand is stuck.
It would be much wiser for him to let go and find apples on a tree to pluck.

The monkey is not too bright for choosing a fruit at the price of being free.
It is no wonder that he spends his time swinging from branches in a tree.

The devil has a similar trap for those who are ensnared by greed.
Money is placed in traps, consuming their time so much that they can't think about what they really need.

Many people are suffering because they refuse to let go of what is entrapping them.
Instead of enjoying the fruits that God freely gives, they choose to hold on to a stem.

Choose to use money in the ways that is meant for you to do.
Don't allow the devil to use money to make a monkey out of you.
