Drip, Drop
by PamFord Davis

Have you ever spent a restless night listening to a leaky faucet? Drip, drop. Drip drop. I believe it's a form of water torture from days gone by. With each drop of water the sound seems to be magnified and soon nerves are on edge. The remedy may be as easy as shutting the door or turning on a radio. You only know you can not take one more minute of that dripping water!

Ladies, do you sometimes nag or quarrel with your husband? Even the most pleasant wives sometimes succumb to that tactic. Next time remember how annoying that can be. "A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping on a rainy day; restraining her is like restraining the wind or grasping oil with the hand (Proverbs 27:15-16 NIV)." Our husbands may be forced to seek refuge outside. We alone can turn off drip, drop and restore peace and harmony.
