Every Blessing has it side effects
by boatrocker Gilmore There are times that we fail to give God thanks because our attitudes are pessimistic. We tend to have expectations from God that we think are normal but are not realistic. We want to believe that the blessings that God gives will never cause discomfort or pain. It is easy for us to give God praise when blessings are enjoyable but when discomfort comes we abstain. Who told us that our love ones will always give us a smile never a frown? Who told us that our dream car will never let us down? Know that every Blessing that God gives will have a side effect. The relationship that you have with God, he will always protect. If we were always going downstream in a boat we would throw away the paddles. If God gave us blessings that were perfect, we would have a tendency to make them idols. Give God Praise and thanks for everything that he does for us no matter what the discomfort may be. Instead of murmuring and complaining of eyes that may be too big, be thankful that you can see.
