Glad All Over
by PamFord Davis

Sadness is a part of life, and like Emmett Kelly, we wear it all over our face. Tearful eyes and drooping mouth became his mask, and circus goers came to catch a glimpse. Clowns also come in the popular happy face variety. Bozo the Clown received a warm welcome in living rooms across America. Children tuned in his television show and ratings soared.

God blesses his children with gladness far beyond our imagination. We have so much to look forward to; put on a happy face! "There will be no lion there. But the redeemed will walk [on it], and the ransomed of the Lord will return and come to Zion with singing, crowned with unending joy. Joy and gladness will overtake [them], and sorrow and sighing will flee (Isaiah 35:9-10 HCS)." It will be hard to hide; we will be glad all over.
