THE FEAR OF OUR KIDS
by sana edoja

Children sometimes experience fear. We need to understand our kids and stop forcing them to accept what they fear most. We need to do that, by remembering our own childhood, like when we used to be very scared of going to the dentist or go to the doctor for an injection.

We need to help our kids understand their fears and as they grow older they will begin to understand that there is no need to fear certain things because God is protecting us. 1 John 4:4 "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world".

Interestingly enough, I brought my son recently to a festival and there were some giants moppets 3 meters tall and my son was very scared of them. So I tried to soothe him but he wouldn't want to know anything, he just wanted to come back home.

A few days ago, I talked to a few people about it, I learnt that themselves as kids used to be scared of those gigantic moppets. We need to go back to our childhood to understand and accept the fear of our kids.
