God Fine Tunes Our Vision
by Marijo Phelps I went to the eye doctor not too long ago. My pressures were down, no cataracts and my vision has actually gotten better. I realized it was time to let the Great Physician bring me, my eyes that see and my heart into His focus. Once again He was speaking to be about being "busy", me, busy? Imagine that. Can you relate? Then the Lord God whispered to my heart: My busy child, quiet your heart before Me. I desire to give you focus, to bring order to confusion as Jesus did when He spoke forth life to you. Let not your mind wander. Look to your first love for direction and being. I help you to focus on Jesus. Receive my counsel and look to the Lord who is your strength, your everything. The Spirit and the Bride say come. I say time is at hand for those words to be fulfilled. Is the bride ready or in a state of disarray? Let Jesus teach you His peace. Be ready/willing to learn and you shall. You need peace before you can be a finished bride, resplendent in Holiness, clothed in His robe of righteousness without spot or wrinkle. Then shall He come, your awaited, your beloved. Tarry (not that you might not fulfill His plan for you). Take time to come apart often with the Son. Dwell in His Word and His Word shall dwell in you. I have read parts which talk about Jesus' Bride being without spot or wrinkle. That scripture in Ephesians 5:26-27 speaks of Jesus sanctifying and cleansing His bride. I am glad that he is doing that for us. When I peek at the Bride, whatever part I am, thumb, ear, mouth.. I know that help is needed to get those spots and wrinkles taken care of. Is this something that you can relate to? We see more of this partnership with the Divine in Psalm 37:23 where the Psalmist speaks of the steps of a good man (woman) being ordered by the Lord and that the Lord delights in his way. What is our part. to yield and then put one foot in front of the other, sometimes our part is to stand. The Bride's part is never to retreat. Notice how our back is the only thing which is not protected by the armor of God. (Ephesians 6:10-18) Looking at 2 Corinthians 10:5 the Bride also has some warfare to do in casting down arguments and all that lifts itself up against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me! Again we see that partnership with the Divine, Our Lord Jesus Christ. With Him as the team leader there is literally nothing we cannot do! I can't wait to see those wrinkles go! Prayer: Lord God, please help me to desire your Word even more than physical food. I want to be without spot or wrinkle and it is only ever by Your doing that I can be. I yield my heart, once again, to You to do with as You will! Help my eyes to SEE You, draw me closer as I worship and praise my soon and coming King. Let me be more single minded I pray. Help me to grow up, Lord. In Jesus most incredible name I pray, AMEN.
