The sea saw it, and fled Psalm 114:3
by Jasti Victor

The mighty oceans that separate continents,
Their atrociousness and the ruthless force,
But the rushing waves remain untamable.
Rocks are crushed and shorelines changed,
The pounding of the waves, sounds that reverberate,
Through ages, persistently with tenacious consistency
Sounds that traveled either in hostility and harmony,
Through famine and plenty, war and peace.

The pounding of waters, back and forth,
Throughout the ages, night and day,
Between the continents, shore to shore,
Still man traveled those very oceans relentlessly,
By ship, boat and raft, in a never ending adventure,
And descend to the bottom, dark and still,
Bone chill and with bated breath, down and under,
And traveled through them, fighting and conquering.

However the oceans are no problem for God,
The One who created them, mighty and dominant,
Who could do what He desires,
Parting the Red Sea, to let the Israelites pass,
He could do it because the oceans obey Him.
When the turbulent seas of difficulty,
And the obstacles that seemed overwhelming,
They flee, because God's power is with you.
