At Cobequid Bay
by Richard L. Provencher Spring arrives in a parade of icy chunks playing jack-of-lantern in the harbour. From Economy Mountain I focus on winter's lingering stare hay fields huddling beneath the snow in bewildered disarray. Weathered houses are random sprinkles; crows deer, a cat, foraging within my view and blueberry fields showcase purple tinges, through a mask of white. Straying from my perch I wish to join the dance. Richard L. Provencher Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel. They are "born again" Christians and very busy in their church, Abundant Life Victory International, in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
