Stuck in the Middle With You
by PamFord Davis

It might surprise you; the middle could be the safest place. We avoid situations and people that crowd us. If conflicts arise, we do not want to be in the middle of confrontation and aggression. We prefer standing in fringe areas, with easy access to escape routes. Parental or employer issues often leave no alternatives; we are stuck in the middle and forced to take sides.

If the Lord is in our midst the middle is more than wonderful! "Where is the man who fears the Lord? God will teach him how to choose the best. He shall live within God's circle of blessing, and his children shall inherit the earth (Psalm 25:12-13 The Book, Living Bible)." Heavenly Father, there is no place on earth or heaven above I would rather be; I find peace and contentment when stuck in the middle with you!
