Dawn
by PamFord Davis

City lights and smog hide the beauty of the rising and setting of the sun. Those with the advantage of living in a country setting have repeated dawn displays of grandeur. Words are inadequate to describe the colors splashed across the horizon.

I have a different perspective than people who were born, raised and settled in the same area. Following my marriage in the late 1960's I have lived in many different states and sections of the U.S.A. Each local offers a unique view of the landscape and sky above. My favorites were south Texas and California desert, near Palm Springs. God offers a front row seat with no reservations needed.

"Did you ever tell the sun to rise? And did it obey? Did it take hold of the earth and shake out the wicked like dust from a rug? Early dawn outlines the hills like stitches on clothing or sketches on clay (Job 38:12-14 CEV)." Dance with dawn; hold her in your arms and praise your creator!
