That's What Friends Are For
by PamFord Davis It is interesting to note that both words family and friends begin with the same letter. It resembles the shepherds staff, transformed into the shape of a cross, drawing us close together within His flock. When Christ is at the center of our relationships, we will be faithful to Him and each other. Families may drift apart due to relocation or misunderstandings. Friendships need nurturing and diligence to remain strong in our busy culture. "Some friendships do not last, but some friends are more loyal than brothers (Proverbs 18:24 TEV)." We cherish those counted as friends plus family. Together we make memories to share across decades.
