From a Grandmother's Heart

Oh my precious little one.
I long to kiss your face so sweet.
My heart you've already won.
Very soon we'll meet.

I long to hold you in my arms,
Count your tiny fingers and toes,
Marvel at all your charms
With a heart that overflows.

I'll thank Almighty God above
As I hold you close to my heart
He gave me a darling child to love
And for all the joy you impart. 

My husband and I did mission work in Zambia for 5 years and I am now doing prison ministry. I have three children and three grandchildren.
